Weeked fun!

I made the VwaV Raspberry-Chocolate Blondie bars on Saturday. Boy are they yum-E! I'm going to take the remaining bars to work tomorrow for all to enjoy (well at least 10 or so people)

The raspberry sauce was really good and it gave me an idea for the breakfast pictures below these.


Sunday I made VwaV pancakes, except with whole wheat flour (because that's the way I like pancakes). I then made my own blueberry sauce to put on top of it (recipe after pictures). These pancakes were so good! But, I love pancakes anytime.



Blueberry Sauce:

1 1/4 cup frozen blueberries

1/4 cup water

2 tbsp sugar

1/2 tbsp cornstarch

Heat all in sauce pan until it's thick like syrup. I'm not big on lots of sugar (although the blondies were full of it) so you can add more sugar to the sauce to get to the sweetness you like.

Oh, yum! That blueberry sauce looks amazing... I also like pancakes anytime of day. If i've had a particularly rough day, I'll often crave pancakes for dinner. They're such good comfort food :-)

They are great comfort food! The blueberry sauce was a last minute idea, since I have tons of frozen blueberries (my grandpa has a blueberry bush and had a great season last year). Blueberries rock.

I've had the blondie bar recipe bookmarked for a loooong time-- with chocolate and raspberries together, what's not to love?!
